Inspired by the big ideas of inspirational leaders, Laura’s passion is helping those ideas flourish by facilitating smooth operations behind the scenes. She brings over 25 years of experience in data management, CRM implementation, training, and customer service to her work with clients.
Most recently, Laura led administrative operations for the ML4 Foundation, a nonprofit supporting ultra-rare disease research. An organization is only as strong as its communication, and using the donor CRM as a tool, Laura implemented processes to maintain strong ties with all the organization’s constituents – donors, family members in the disease community, and board members.
Prior to that, Laura spent fifteen years working with CRM systems designed for college recruitment and admissions. As part of managing database implementations and training new clients, Laura loved seeing a light bulb turn on when someone realized that learning new technology is not something to be dreaded, but rather a tool that unlocks ways to make ideas come to life.
As a member of the Callahan Collaborative team, Laura is especially excited to work with public education organizations. She has long been a champion for public education, beginning with a secondary teaching stint early in her career, and more recently as a parent volunteer with local schools. Public schools are a cornerstone for our society and Laura is ready to provide support to organizations preparing our young people for success in life.
Laura enjoys the friendly vibe in her Decatur, Georgia neighborhood, where she lives with her husband and two teenaged children.
